GIN 44°N

The first gin distilled on the French Riviera. 44°N is the place where the verve of Côte d’azur rubs up against the cultural heritage of the capital of perfume in the South of France. 44°N Gin captures the exquisite energy and flavors of 22 botanicals from the region's terroir. Named as an ode to the geographical coordinates of Grasse, each drop of this exceptional gin evokes a sensory journey through the botanical heritage of the fragrance industry, with scents of jasmine, bitter orange, lavender, mimosa and rose centifolia. An internationally award winning gin, unique in its’ inception, where the difference is everything. 


 

COMTE DE GRASSE

Comte de Grasse Distillery, is situated in an iconic former perfume factory dating back to 1820,  in a city recognized by UNESCO for its know-how linked to perfume. Grasse is where culture and science are unrivaled in aromatic extraction, where the most prestigious world-class perfumes have been curated for over 200 years. The 1820 building was meticulously transformed and restored by Comte de Grasse to house an innovation hub as a 360° high tech distillery creating the spirits of tomorrow by redefining and re-engineering traditional spirits using modern processes. Using science as a disruptor to tradition. 

 

TASTING

TOP NOTES: Freshness of lemon peel and grapefruit zest. Iodized notes of sea fennel, punctuated with a touch of mimosa. Mediterranean juniper Cade adding warm woody nuances. 

 

HEART NOTES: Floral notes of Centifolia rose and jasmine. Bitter orange balances with the herbaceous notes of angelica and sea fennel. 

 

BASE NOTES: Spicy Alexander notes, rounded off by powdery soft iris and honey, with a citrus fruits and floral finish.
